Louisa Imperiale spent two decades working as a political fundraiser for prominent Republican candidates and the Republican National Committee. She then took an early retirement and went back to school for her Ph.D., where she studied the intersection of media, technology, and democracy, writing her dissertation on the deregulation of campaign finance.
Louisa enjoys introducing her children to Washington’s cultural institutions, serving on the Board of Imagination Stage, being involved in her church, and writing about herself in the third person.
